It's with great regret that The Cribs are unable to make their planned trip to Australia in the New Year, the band is currently holed up in the studio working on their 4th album and they look forward to coming to Australia later in the year with their new 4-piece line up.

The band apologises for any disappointment caused, but the new record has to take priority for now.

So we are going to be back out there after our 6 week break (longest we may have ever had, incidentally) for some festivals and a few one-off club dates. Starting with a not-so-well-kept-secret support show at the Shepherds Bush Empire with our friends Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks on Thursday the 5th of June, where we are planning on playing a full B-sides only set for the first time.

A loyal fan of The Cribs that some of you may know has been reported missing, known as Mikey (from Gravesend, Kent) he’s one of the few that got tickets for the Leeds Brudenell Social Club shows pre-Christmas, he was there on Dec 20th “The New Fellas” gig, if any of you know him or know where he is please encourage him to contact his girlfriend and family.

The Cribs are nominated for Best International indie/alternative Live Act, at this years USA NME awards, held at the EL Rey Theatre in Los Angeles.
